we are playing around with the channels feature... couple questions... we need to add this o the bottom of the page...

this was just copying the search results and just copying the page code and pasting it... however, we want to make it dynamic to update with the newest videos from the authors videos using the channel feature... what is the best way...

I don't understand what you are asking. The channel page is a hwdVideoShare page which displays various information about a user. It is not a Joomla module or Joomla plugin, so it can not be used to display information on other pages.

what is the best way...If you want to display hwdVideoShare information within other pages on your site, you need to use a module or a plugin. If that pageis a content artcile, then maybe you should use the content plugin.

At the moment, it is not possible to insert videos from a specific user. However, if you request it. Then we can look into it for you. We are using UserVoice to track feature requests. It is a system where users can request features, then the community vote for their favourite ideas. This allows our developers to see which requests are most popular. The requests with the most votes will be prioritised. Therefore, I suggest you go to UserVoice and submit this request there:

this is done using html right now.. am i able to use the channel feature.. edit the code and template to make it look something like that...?

The video channels display video data relating to the user who owns the channel. The channels could be considered as a "profile" page, but this is not what they have been designed for. They will not have detailed profile information, or multiple profile images, or a contact form. They will have some basic information about the user, a description, a logo, and lots of information about how the user has interacted with the video gallery.

The channels will be displayed using the template plugin, so you will be able to modify the channel template file so the page layout is whatever you like.
