The future "hide subcategories" works in the last version from 02. OctoberOK, great. Thanks for the confirmation.

But how looks with displaying any videos from all it's subcategories, if they are no videos in category?I still have not had time to develop the ideas discussed in this thread. I should have time to complete these ideas over the next few weeks...

I assume you actually mean to ask "is it possible to not show these subs"? And the answer to this is yes. There is a new option in the template parameters called "Hide subcategories". This will hide all sub-categories in the main category list, so they are only displayed when you click on the parent category...

I am on hwdVideoShare 2.1.4 Rev 131 ALPHA with Dark template and the Hide Subcategories option in that template is having no effect on the category list menu item.

I am on hwdVideoShare 2.1.4 Rev 131 ALPHA with Dark template and the Hide Subcategories option in that template is having no effect on the category list menu item.Thanks for reporting this. I confirmed this bug. In fact, most of the templates were not function correctly with this parameter. I have fixed them all. The fix has been added to the source code. It will be uploaded with the Nightly Build tomorrow night at 18:00 GMT. There will also be a quick official follow up release on Monday.
