Would it be possible to create more jomsocial template plugins? You have a plugin for jomsocial that matches the default jomsocial template but I would also like a plugin to match the bubble and blueface jomsocial templates. I have seen others customize their site in order to accomplish this request. If you can create a plugin that would be great.

Yes, we could create equivalent template plugins for the other templates that are distributed with JomSocial. This is unliekly to be a huge priority for the moment however, we are using UserVoice to track feature requests. It is a system where users can request features, then the community vote for their favourite ideas. This allows our developers to see which requests are most popular. The requests with the most votes will be prioritised. Therefore, I suggest you go to UserVoice and submit this request there:

Thank you for the suggestion. I will request my feature using the tracking mechanism recommended. In the interim could you provide a bit of guidance. I viewed the source code of a website with a modified hwdvs plugin. I just don't know which file I modify. Any advice?

You could try just switching these over. You would do this here:
<JoomlaRoot>/plugins/hwdvs-template/jomsocial.php

It will probably work, but there might be some "tweaking" necessary afterwards in some places of the template file. For the location of the template files please see:
