uploaded to the latest nightly build but had the same problem with the last release on april 19 2010.

examples:

Upload using the java uploading. Images are loaded but when finished I am taken back to the photos screen with the error:

You do not have permission to edit this item

try to edit and album, change a different album for some photos then choose save get error:
You do not have permission to edit this item

in admin view is set to everyone and upload to super admin, have also tried as everyone but same error.

I have cleared cache, and disabled other possible conflicting plugins, still same error.

I did have some issues earlier with a compnent called jfusion adding the time= operator to the end of the url however i have resolved this by disabling the the comp and plugin

Ok i think i figured some of this out.

1: when upgrading you have to purge the sef urls from joomsef or there will be a failure. updating the joomsef files is not enough

I was not able to get it to work until i removed the sef urls stored in joomsef, AND clean the site cache.

2: no that this part is resolved there is still some left over issues with the upload. which I am guessing are bugs

- when uploading to album C it places all the images that were uploaded to album A.
( I find it strange it loads it to the last album that was created in the previous version but will not load it to the album that was created them selected for upload)

- if I go to album A and edit, then change to move the pictures to Album C like i wanted it will only move 1 picture at a time instead of moving them all at once. So is this a Bug or possibly another issue with a conflicting app.

Ok last bit if I turn joomsef off everything works fine. so it appears there is an issue with the joomsef files provided with the nightly build or bugs with joomsef and the component. So i believe this should be listed as a bug report.

Ok last bit if I turn joomsef off everything works fine.Yes, there have been some significant changes in the structure of the URLs in hwdPhotoShare over the past 2 releases. It seems the JoomSEF plugin has not been updated accordingly!

I will fix the plugin on Monday. Please post again then, I will confirm the fix has been done and tell you were to access the new update.

I checked the ARTIO plugin today, and it had actually already been updated. Therefore, I think you just need to update your ARTIO plugin for hwdPhotoShare. It is included in the hwdMediaShare package.

Note, we just published a new release so you should use the ARTIO plugin from that version. If you continue to have problems, please let me know.
